ADVERTISING DIRECTLY ON THE WEBSITE
Advertising on Moto Trader website is as easy as ABC and affordable. Follow these simple instructions to place an advert.
Simply register as a seller by clicking on the registration link on the top right hand corner of the home page.
Complete the registration page, making sure all boxes are complete. Click on submit.
Your unique password will then be emailed to the email account you provided on the registration form.
Copy and paste your password from your email account into the password box that is displayed after you clicked submit on the registration form. If the box is no longer available, click on Seller Login Area on the top right hand corner. Clicking on this link takes you to the “Seller Login Area” where you would now enter your chosen Username & Password. Enter this password when prompted to complete the registration process.
Upon logging-in, if you want to change your password to something more memorable, click on “My Profile” located on the top menu bar and make amendments there.
To upload your first advert, click on ‘List a Car’ located on the top menu bar.
Complete the form giving all details of the vehicle for sale. Also remember to choose your preferred Payment Option and Payment Type.
Make sure all the required boxes are filled correctly, click on submit, you will then be given the option to upload upto 5 pictures of the vehicle.
Click the browse button to locate your chosen vehicle picture from your computer files or disc/floppy.
Click on submit to finish this process. A confirmation page is displayed depending on the Payment Option and Payment Type chosen plus you get to see what your actual listing will look like.
More vehicles can be listed by clicking on ‘list a car’ again and repeating the above process.
Make the required payment at the bank or at our office
Once this process is complete the adverts will appear on the website as soon as payment is confirmed. Click here for payment methods.
ADVERTISING BY EMAIL
If you have your own good quality digital or scanned photos, you can simply email the photo with details of your advert and how you would like to pay, to sales@mototrader.net. If you do not have a digital photo, visit a nearby photo studio and ask them to snap a digital photo of your vehicle and save it on a disc or visit a business centre that takes passport photo for travel visas.
The following details will need to be included in your email: Make / Model / New or Used / Year / Mileage / Colour / Price / Full description including options, equipment and condition.
In addition, we would require your contact details including Name, Address, Email, Telephone numbers and a preferred User Name for the website access registration (one will be chosen for you if you prefer).
Make the required payment at the bank or at our office. The adverts will then be uploaded to MotoTrader.net as soon as your payment is confirmed. Click here for payment methods.
ADVERTISING IN PERSON
You are welcome to bring your vehicle to any of our offices (click here for address) nearest to you to place your order. Our staff will be happy to help with the description of your advert and will take FREE PHOTO of your vehicle.
PAYMENT METHOD
You can pay at any of our nominated banks, by cheque or in cash. You can also visit any of our offices to pay. Our international customers can pay by Paypal online. We are currently in talks with our bank to setup an online debit card payment – we’ll let you know when it’s available. In the meantime, upon confirmation of payment, all adverts will appear online within 24hrs.
